Kristen’s senior session in a cypress swamp was at a location that I had never done before, and it was amazing! One thing about me and my seniors is that, if it’s a new location, I’m typically all in and I will do my best to always say yes. I’m so glad I chose Kristen’s location option because it was beautiful and the perfect way to start the day.
We met up, just after sunrise in a nearby neighborhood. When Kristen and her mom arrived, they showed up with a special surprise: her two adorable pups! It was a fun and unexpected twist that added an extra layer of cuteness to her senior session.
Kristen’s senior session took place on a peaceful boardwalk nestled in the middle of a cypress swamp. As we walked to our photo spot, the sun peeked through the trees, surrounding us with a peaceful, golden glow. But, this hidden treasure wasn’t just any location—it also held a special place in Kristen’s heart.
Kristen and her friends would frequent this spot throughout the years, capturing lots of memories, including school dances, “just for fun” pictures and, now of course, for her senior photos.
Kristen’s Pups
When we started her session, the dogs were absolute stars! They brought so much joy and energy to the shoot. I particularly loved the photos of Kristen, in her cap and gown, with the dogs. They were so well behaved!! They posed perfectly, which made the session even better. Well honestly, the doggie treats didn’t hurt either. Regardless, the dogs did great, and her photos with her precious pups turned out wonderful!
The Cowboy Boots
For the first part of her senior session, Kristen wore an adorable blue and white floral dress, with her cowboy boots. Those boots really added a touch of country flair to her senior session, and the sunflowers on the boots were as fun and vibrant as her personality. She looked absolutely precious!

Then, it was time for Kristen to showcase who she really was! She brought out her cowboy hat and her jeans! This was classic Kristen and she looked amazing! At this point, we were walking all around the boardwalk, having fun, and laughing together while we were taking her pictures. It was just the most relaxed senior session with the most amazing senior!!!
Kristen recently graduated from Wiregrass Ranch High School. She has an exciting Fall ahead of her. She will be starting her college journey at PHSC, with big dreams and decisions that are yet to come. I can assure you that I will be cheering her on here at home.
