Kaylee’s senior session at the University of Tampa started out nice and early. When we arrived, there was this perfect mix of light rain and the soft early morning light that was peeking through the clouds. I knew that we were going to capture the most gorgeous photos of Kaylee at her senior session.
Photos at the Plant Museum
We began her session at the charming outdoor and covered corridor, at the Plant Museum. The historic architecture and the iconic red brick gave her photos such a timeless elegance. This lovely spot was the perfect location to start her senior session.
By the time we started Kaylee’s senior session, it was raining. While some might see rain as an obstacle, the light rain transformed the campus into a peaceful and quiet setting for Kaylee’s portraits. There was almost no one out on this particular morning and it was just perfect.
Kaylee’s first outfit was an adorable white romper, which was such a nice contrast against the red brick building. After capturing so many beautiful photos of her in her white romper she added her blue cap and gown to this outfit. The whole outfit looked beautiful in this location.
Kaylee’s Throwback Remake Kindergarten Photo
Next up was such a fun part of Kaylee’s session. She and her mom had the idea to recreate a photo from her first day of kindergarten! She brought an almost exact replica of the Hello Kitty outfit that she wore on her very first day of Kindergarten. Seeing Kaylee in that adorable outfit was just precious! She even smiled the same as she did on her first day of kindergarten. Kaylee brought her photo and she flashed the same exact smile and it was spot on! We were cracking up with laughter as we photographed Kaylee.
After this fun part of her senior session, if was time for us to leave the University of Tampa. Next, we headed over to the Riverwalk in Downtown Tampa. Kaylee loves hanging out in downtown Tampa so this was the perfect location to finish up her senior session.

We were so excited to see the sun coming out, just we were walking onto the Riverwalk. The beautiful sunlight illuminated the rest of Kaylee’s session. The sun was warm and bright and we got to play around with fun shadows in the sunlight. Our final photos of the day featured a local hot spot in the background, called Armature Works. It has great food, outdoor games and seating, where people can hang out and enjoy being on the river. It was such a fun way to end her session.
Kaylee, you are so amazing. I am so glad that I had the privilege of meeting you and working with you during your senior year. You are so kind, gentle, and super smart! I hope that you love college life and I know that your future is so bright!!! I hope you love your senior photos as much as I do.
