A Golden Field Senior Session

Seniors

June 24, 2025

Meet Ana! What an amazing recent high school graduate she is!! Ana is the oldest of four siblings and a natural-born leader. She easily takes charge and knows how to make things happen! And as the student event coordinator for her senior class, Ana has been busy planning events all year, balancing responsibilities with much creativity and enthusiasm. So, when it came to her senior session, it was no wonder that she wanted a golden field senior session. She had a vision for her senior photos and we worked hard to achieve just that.

Ana’s heart is even more beautiful than her stunning blue eyes!! Those beautiful eyes were the first thing that I noticed about her, but as her session went along, her inner beauty and caring heart is what stood out the most. The more I got to know her, the more I could see a wonderful blend of humor and warmth. She was so kind and engaging in our conversations. I just knew that her session was going to be fantastic!!

Ana told me on our initial zoom call that she dreamed of a golden field and flowers for her senior session, so we started planning! Then, on the day of her session, Ana and her sister met me at our meeting spot and they loaded up my golf cart so we could head out to our final destination. It was only a few minutes ride on the golf cart, and it was filled with conversation and laughter as we got to know each other better.

The Golden Field

Finally, we started her session in the field. The sun was creating the most gorgeous glow in the field. Everything came together… the sun, the glowy field, the soft tones of her outfit, the vibrant bouquet of flowers that she brought to her session, AND let’s not forget her cowboys boots… All of it made for the perfect scenario for epic senior portraits.

Ana also brought her bible to her senior session and we were able to capture such sweet photos of a very important part of her life… her favorite scriptures in her bible. I loved the highlighted passages of scripture that were in her bible. She not only reads the bible… she lives it! That was so special to see. I was honored to capture such a sweet set of photos for her.

Final Photos On The Boardwalk

Our final location was at a nearby boardwalk where Ana wanted to have her cap and gown photos taken. She was so excited to put on the cap and gown, and she looked beautiful as always. We enjoyed a more natural backdrop with lots of tall trees lining the entire boardwalk. It was quite beautiful, and I am so glad that we finished her session in this spot. It added even more variety into her senior session.

Ana’s session was such a joyful experience—so much so that we were a little giddy riding back on the golf cart! We were talking about all of the fun little moments that happened during her session, and the funny sister comments that were exchanged. Yes… Ana’s younger sister was with us and she was a HUGE help on the day of Ana’s senior session. I always encourage my seniors to bring their people to their session. It just adds to the celebration.

What’s next for Ana? She plans to continue her education and career right here in Tampa. And, with her ambition, drive, contagious energy, and kindness, I have no doubt that great things are ahead for her.

Congratulations, Ana! Thank you for letting me capture this beautiful chapter of your life. And if you are still here reading all about Ana’s senior session, I hope you enjoy some of my very favorite images from her senior session.
