When Raquel told me that she wanted a sunrise senior session at a local park, I knew it was going to be an amazing day! Sunrise sessions are my favorites!! I feel like I say that on every blog, but it’s so true! I’m an early bird and so are many of my homeschool seniors, so it’s always a win-win.
Today, I’d like to welcome Raquel to the blog. She is a homeschool senior, who wanted a nature senior session. We found a local park that had it all… flowers, water, and big trees with glowy light as well. So, this park location was the perfect option for her photos.
Raquel arrived to her senior session with her mom and older brother. Since I already knew Raquel and her family, this senior session was relaxed and full of familiarity. We started our day being all set up for success!!
We began her session out by a small lake and the light was beautiful. But, what Raquel was even more excited for was our next set of photos… with her truck. Now, there are those people who like their truck, and then there are those people who LOVE their truck! Raquel is the latter, for sure!!! Her truck is beautiful, complete with her custom license plate. She picked the perfect variety of denim and cowboy boots to wear during this set of her session. Her smile should say it all. She’s just so happy when she is with her truck. Then… throw in her guitar, and I don’t think it gets any better!!!

After showing off her truck, we needed to show off her fun boots, followed by her yellow dress that I had heard so much about before her session. It looked great on her and it was also perfect for swishing around, and creating lots of movement in her photos.
We didn’t have to look long to find the most beautiful wooded area where we could capture this part of her senior session. This park was amazing and the light was so pretty as it was cascading through the tree branches. Who doesn’t love beautiful light cascading through trees, am I right?

The location possibilities were almost endless at this park. Next, we went back to the lake, after Raquel changed into her final outfit! For this set of her session, it was time for her photos with her beloved Bible. I love that she opened up her Bible to her favorite verse. It was the perfect way to end her session!!! Her session was so relaxed and easy… It was a such gift on that early morning, and it was truly the perfect way to start the day!!

Raquel is planning on pursuing her education after graduation right here in the Tampa Bay area! Raquel, I’m so very proud of the amazing young woman you have become. God has great plans for you and I will be cheering you on as you work toward your future!! It certainly is bright!!
