Some weddings just feel magical from the very start… and Caleb and Lindsey’s big day at the Tampa Garden Club was truly an unforgettable celebration. It was a huge honor to photograph such an elegant Downtown Tampa wedding, and my photographer heart was so happy… all day long!

The day kicked off at a nearby hotel where Lindsey and her girls were getting ready for the day. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement! There was lots of chatter, good food and drinks. But, before we left out for the venue, we had to get the PJ’s photos first. Lindsey’s bridesmaids took it up a notch with extra large letter balloons, spelling out the word, BRIDE, and also a sea of smaller balloons covering the bed. They went over-the-top in the best way and it made for the cutest, most joyful photos. What a perfect way to start the day!

After the PJ photos, we made our way over to the Tampa Garden Club, where they have the most dreamy white bridal suite. It was full of natural light, and absolutely perfect for bridal portraits. The bridesmaids slipped into their dresses and then gave Lindsey and her mom some quiet moments together. Lindsey gifted her mom a handwritten letter and a sweet gift! It was such a tender moment, and I felt so honored to capture it.

Next up, came not one, not two, but three more first looks and sweet moments! Lindsey also had hand written cards and gifts for her most special people. Each first look was filled with smiles and a few happy tears. And then there was just one more special moment left… The first touch between Lindsey and Caleb, her groom to be. No peeking for Caleb… Just hands held and hearts full. It was clear from the very beginning that Lindsey and Caleb were intentional about every single moment — not just with each other, but with their families too. The love between these two families was undeniable and so beautiful to witness.

The outdoor ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect either — blue skies, a rare, cool Florida day, and zero humidity (can I get an amen?!). The guests enjoyed the ceremony out on the lawn, as they watched Lindsey and Caleb say “I do”. It was beautiful.

After the ceremony, and all of the necessary family photos, we slipped away for a little golden hour magic. So, we crossed the street to Bayshore Boulevard, one of Downtown Tampa’s most iconic spots. We watched (and photographed) as Lindsey and Caleb read their personal vows to each other, privately. We kept our distance so they could soak it all in. It was beautiful to see them giggling and smiling as they each said their own their private vows, and their photos of this moment were so sweet.

And then… it was time to celebrate!!!

The reception at the Tampa Garden Club was the party of parties!! Again… full of many special moments, including heart-felt speeches from the best man and maid of honor. And, we can’t forget Lindsay’s dad’s loving speech, followed by a fun rendition of “My Girl” by The Temptations. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear. It was a moment to remember, and it was very apparent that Lindsey is the apple of her daddy’s eye.

Dinner was followed by a dance floor that did not quit! It was full-on party mode for the rest of the evening. Caleb and Lindsey’s crew knew how to celebrate, and I have no doubt that they left their wedding with their hearts full and feet sore from dancing. What a celebration!!!
