Vibrant and joyful senior photos

Hannah and Her Pony, Silver

Hannah chose to have her senior session at the barn where she grew up. It was a sunrise session, so of course, I was thrilled!! Hannah had told me so much about the barn and her beloved pony, Silver, prior to her senior session. To be more specific, she texted me: “I want my pictures with this super cute, white pony, who taught me everything. We were a very iconic duo!” Iconic??? I was all in!!!! Hannah’s senior session with her horse, Silver, couldn’t get here fast enough!

The Barn

Hannah’s love for horses runs deep, but her bond with her pony, Silver, is on another level. As we walked through the barn, I was introduced to the incredible people who have been a part of Hannah’s journey for a huge part of her life. Hannah even showed me all of the pictures of her and Silver that hung on the walls of the barn. The photos were absolutely precious, and I loved seeing the tiny version of Hannah as a little girl. She was so cute!!! (and she still is, actually!).

After I met the staff at the barn, Hannah took me on a mini-tour around the barn, introducing me to all the horses and sharing sweet stories. Her passion and excitement about these beautiful animals was contagious! Then finally… it was time to meet Silver. I was about to meet the “iconic duo”… together at last. What a fun moment. I immediately noticed the love and trust that these two share. Silver clearly loved Hannah as much as Hannah loved Silver. And then… it was time to start Hannah’s senior session.

Hannah’s First Set Of Pictures

Hannah started out the day in a light aqua blue dress with a nice slit in the front, of course to show off her western boots, which was so appropriate for this occasion! She warmed Silver up by walking her up and down the dirt road that was lined with gorgeous trees. It was so sweet to watch Hannah and Silver together. Silver did everything that Hannah told her to do. They looked so peaceful and relaxed together. As we continued her senior session, Hannah started to show me a few tricks to get Silver’s attention for the photos. Believe me, that was an adventure of it’s own trying to get her attention. But it was totally worth it for those perfect shots.

The Pink Boots

Her next outfit was my favorite. It perfectly represented Hannah’s fun and spunky personality! Before Hannah’s senior session, she told me “My favorite color is pink. It’s a part of my personality”. She looked so adorable! Those pink western boots and her bell bottom jeans with the flowers all over, fit Hannah’s personality perfectly. And, what can I say about her cowboy hat? Could Hannah have been any cuter??? I don’t think so! She looked fantastic!

At this point, Hannah hopped on Silver, riding bareback. The connection between them was simply beautiful to witness. Silver was an absolute gem and did everything Hannah asked. I loved getting to pat sweet Silver and tell him what a good boy he was.

After all the fun of Hannah riding around with Silver, she decided to dress it up for her final photos of the day. So, to wrap up the session, Hannah slipped into a cute and trendy green dress, with another pair of cowboy boots to match.

Kisses From Silver

We captured some of her final shots in the grass. Silver was so engaging, and he couldn’t resist giving Hannah a kiss! Seriously, the cutest thing ever, and I’m so glad we caught it on camera! What a fun moment!

Hannah’s session was not just a photo shoot; it was an experience! It was full of laughter, adventure, and moments that I know she’ll cherish forever. I’m beyond thrilled that we could include Silver in her senior portraits, and I love how the bond between them shines through in every single shot.
