Your Senior Year Bucket List

Hey, Class of 2025! Can you believe it’s finally here? Yes… It’s finally your turn… you are now a senior!!! So much needs to happen this year, as you will be wrapping up your high school career, but don’t forget to make your senior year bucket list too. There are still so many memories that need to be made during your senior year, before you head off to college.

Having said that, today I have put together this fun blog to help get your creative juices flowing so that you can start planning your senior year bucket list.

1. Plan a Senior Sunrise and Sunset

Kicking off the year with a sunrise and wrapping it up with a sunset with your closest friends is the perfect way to bookend this amazing chapter of your life.

2. Go All Out for Spirit Week

It’s your last chance to show off that school spirit! Go crazy with costumes, face paint, and all the pep.

3. Create a Time Capsule

Such a unique way to preserve the memories of your senior year for your future self to enjoy one day.

4. Take a Road Trip

A road trip with friends is the perfect way to make some unforgettable memories during this season of your life.

5. Attend Every School Event

This is your last chance to experience high school to the fullest.

6. Start a Senior Year Journal

Capture the ups, downs, and everything in between. You’ll love looking back on it later.

7. Master a New Skill

Challenge yourself to learn something new, whether it’s cooking, learning an instrument, or even a new sport.

8. Plan a “Yes Day”

Say yes to adventure! A day where you agree to everything (responsibly and within reason, of course!) can lead to unexpected fun and lots of memories.

9. Make a Senior Year Playlist

Music is the soundtrack of our lives. Capture the vibe of your senior year with a playlist that’ll bring back all the amazing memories and feels whenever you listen to it.

10. Get Involved in a new Club or Activity

Try something you’ve never done before and meet new people. This is your last chance to do this at home before you leave for college.

11. Create a Senior Video

Capture the highlights of your senior year in a video that you and your friends can watch for years to come.

12. Volunteer Together

Giving back as a group can be a rewarding experience and a great way to bond.

13. Write Letters to Your Future Self

Send some wisdom into the future you, reminding yourself of where you’ve been and where you’re going.

14. Throw a Themed Party

A themed party is a great way to celebrate with friends and add a little creativity to your party. Here are some examples of themes: 80’s retro (my decade… it was the BEST!), luau, or even a masquerade ball.

15. Participate in a Charity Run or Walk

Participate, with your friends, in a charity event by signing up for a local 5K, walkathon, or fun run that supports a cause you care about.

16. Organize a Senior Scavenger Hunt

A scavenger hunt is a fun way to explore your town with friends, of course, making amazing memories with your friends while doing it.

17. Attend a Concert or Festival

Live music is an experience like no other. Make memories with your friends while enjoying your favorite music and bands.

18. Host a Senior Sleepover

A sleepover with your closest friends is a classic way to bond before graduation.

19. Decorate Your Graduation Cap

Graduation caps are your chance to express yourself on one of the biggest days of your life.

20. Book Your Senior Photos

Capture this special time in your life with your senior photos. (Did I really need to say this one???)

21. Try Something Out of Your Comfort Zone

Senior year is the perfect time to push your boundaries and try something new.

22. Make a Memory Book

Collect all your favorite moments, photos, and notes from senior year in one place. You will love looking back at this years from now.

23. Write Thank You Notes to Teachers

Show appreciation to the teachers who’ve helped you along the way.

24. Apply to College

Get your college plans in place so you are ready to go once you graduate.

25. Be Present and Enjoy Every Moment

There’s no time for “senioritis” during your senior year! Stay in the moment and savor every second of your senior year, because this special time in your life will be gone before you know it.
