I hear it every year when I start talking about my model team… “What exactly is a model team”? Well… I am so glad that you asked… because I am going to break down what a model team is and why YOU should consider being a part of my class of 2025 SMP model team for your senior year!! (Yes… you heard that right… for your ENTIRE senior year!!). So go grab a cup of coffee, tea, or even your favorite flavored LaCroix, sit down and relax for a bit while I share the fun details!!  

How It All Began

But first, let me tell you how the idea of a spokesmodel team began. I started shooting professionally in 2016, then officially launched my business 2017. I tried a little bit of everything at first, but then I started noticing something very interesting, specifically with my senior sessions. There was always a special connection between my seniors, their moms, and me. We would talk and laugh the entire session, and by the end of the session we felt like old friends… even if we had just met for the first time.

I so enjoyed talking with my seniors and their parents, and hearing all about their big plans for the future, it seemed crazy to me to think that I’d never see them again after our 2 hours together. I always wanted to stay in touch and cheer them on as they were getting ready to graduate. Not to mention, I also had three recent high school graduates of my own at the time, and I was very familiar with all of the excitement and celebration that goes along with having seniors in high school.

The Idea Of A Senior Model Team…

Also, that is when I first began to hear about the idea of a senior model team. This is when I started to consider that option as the perfect solution to my “problem” in my business. I could (almost) exclusively photograph seniors, stay in touch with them, AND cheer them on as they were finishing up their final year of high school.

It was so exciting to think of having a group of high school seniors that I could work with for an ENTIRE YEAR!!!! I could help celebrate with them and document so many amazing memories for my seniors. At the same time, they were helping me to market my business and bring in even more incredible seniors. Can you say WIN-WIN????? I haven’t looked back since… 

So What Is A Model Team? 

The SMP model team is a group of kind and caring seniors who love spending time together. In fact, they spend their entire year together, participating in several fun and creative photoshoots. In addition to the creative photoshoots throughout their senior year, model team members also receive their own individual senior session, as well as other perks for referring their friends to my business. Model team members are the face of my business for their entire senior year, and I have been so proud of all of them for the way that they have represented SMP over the years.
