Vibrant and joyful senior photos

Christopher’s Safety Harbor Senior Session

I had been looking forward to Christopher’s Safety Harbor senior session for quite a while. While it was exciting to be going back to Safety Harbor again, I was most excited about getting to hang out with Christopher and his mom for the afternoon.

It was just a few years prior, when I first met Christopher’s mom, Kari, at his sister’s senior session. What a fun day I had with both of them. Kaitlyn (Christopher’s sister) was such a joy to photograph, and her mom was absolutely the best too! I knew that I was going to have just as much fun with Christopher at his session. It’s always an honor to photograph siblings of previous seniors. It is never lost on me when a parent trusts me, once again, to photograph their younger son or daughter at their senior session, too.

North City Park in Safety Harbor

Christopher grew up playing basketball, and he is very good at it! He is also very relaxed! Christopher didn’t really need his official basketball photos, in a uniform at his senior session. He chose to be at a city park instead. So, we agreed to meet at North City Park in Safety Harbor. It was a great way to start our afternoon together. The weather was perfect for Christopher’s session, so he just shot around and showed off his skills. He didn’t even seem to mind when I asked him to pose for a few photos too. Then, of course, he needed to do a few dunks before we left and we captured some fun photos of him hanging on the rim. It seemed so easy for Christopher to just jump up and dunk. He made me laugh.

Philippe Park

Our next location was at the beautiful and popular Philippe Park. There are so many photographic spots within the park. We walked all around the park, capturing Christopher in various locations within the park. From the huge trees, the stairs by the water, the sidewalks, the dock and even the canopy covered road. We were able to take gorgeous photos of Christopher that he and his family will be able to enjoy for years to come.

Senior year is such a special time in a high school senior’s life. For me, it is always such a joy to capture a young adult, just as they are, in their final year of high school. They are so excited for their next adventure of heading off to coIlege, but first they need those all important photos of themselves during their senior year. I am so thankful that Christopher and his mom chose to commemorate this milestone with his senior photos. It was an honor to help celebrate all things Christopher, at his session!

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments, Christopher. I know how proud that your family is of you! (I am too!). I hope you make the most of these final months as a high school senior. You are going to do great things.
