Some photo sessions are extra special, and this one with Olivia was exactly that. A proud graduate of the University of South Florida, Olivia came into her college senior session knowing exactly what she wanted… and I loved that about her! I have known this sweet girl for her entire life, and I just knew that Olivia’s session in the studio was going to be amazing, and it was! Her mom, who is also a dear friend of mine, joined us for the session, which made it feel more like a sweet little family reunion than a photo shoot. My heart was so happy!!

In The Studio

Olivia wanted to celebrate this huge milestone in her life in the studio! If you know anything about me, you know that I LOVE my studio for my photography clients. (It’s perfect for those summer months, when it’s extra hot and humid… but back to Olivia!). When she arrived, I had already set up the studio with a few backdrops, so that we could get straight to work.

Olivia is someone who loves color, and she especially loves the color blue! So, I made sure that she would have a blue backdrop in her photos. Even though USF’s colors are green and gold, she still wanted a few photos in front of the blue backdrop with her cap and gown!! I couldn’t argue with her… she looked truly amazing, as you will see in the photos! Then, we continued taking her photos in front of the other 2 backdrops. One was intentionally white, so that we could proudly highlight USF colors. As per usual, she looked stunning in her photos. While taking photos, we were also able to catch up on her life and some extra fun things that she had been up to lately. Let me tell you… this girl has been busy chasing all kinds of amazing dreams here lately! I am so, so proud of her! (Have I mentioned that yet??).

In the Outdoors

After finishing up in the studio, we headed outdoors to a nearby fountain to take photos. We wanted to add some outdoor photos to her gallery because it was the most gorgeous day outside. Once Olivia had changed into her olive green dress, she didn’t hesitate for a second to kick off her shoes, splash around and enjoying being in the sunshine. It was so her… joyful, and full of life. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and I loved capturing those sunny and joyful moments.

Of course, we ended her session with even more cap and gown shots. She had worked so incredibly hard, so we wanted a few more photos with her showing off that cap and gown. They represented all of her hard work, dedication, and the exciting future that is ahead of her. I’m so incredibly proud of Olivia. I just know she’s going to do big things in this world.
