Eleanora’s Lakeland Senior Session

Senior Pictures

November 29, 2022

Eleanora’s senior session at Lake Mirror was both fantastic and a little surreal, all at the same time. I just could not believe how quickly that time had flown by since I had last seen her. It felt like only a year since Eleanora was 11 years old, and in my Sunday School class. But, now she’s 18??? How did the years fly by so quickly? Still, I was so happy to be capturing Nora’s senior pictures at beautiful Lake Mirror and Hollis Gardens, which is at the same location.

The Gardens

This particular spot in Lakeland is a very special place to Nora and her entire family. Nora and her family spent a lot of time in Lakeland, enjoying the grounds of both Lake Mirror and Hollis Gardens as she was growing up. And let me tell you, the flowers in the gardens were gorgeous for her session, and the weather was perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better day for one of my seniors. But what made Lake Mirror even more special was, that just a few years back, I had taken her older brother and sister’s senior pictures in this exact location.

Many settings in one location

Now, maybe it’s just me, but I sure love a challenge!! Anytime that I am at a “repeat location”, my challenge to myself is always to make the session look completely different. Nora’s session was no exception. I tried really hard to make her location look completely different from her brother and sister’s senior pictures. I think we did a great job with that! Nora was up for anything and brought all of the attitude and sass (the BEST kind of attitude and sass) to her session, and I was thrilled with how her photos turned out. She had so much confidence during her entire session, so of course they turned out great!

Great outfit choices

Nora also chose the perfect outfits that highlighted her personality. Her yellow dress showcased her more girly side, while the black jeans, orange top, and heels showed off her more edgy side. Then, of course, her classic black dress was the perfect choice with her cap and gown.

It was such a pleasure getting to hang out with Nora and her awesome sisters for the afternoon. We were all cheering for her and had so much fun making the afternoon all about Nora! I am so proud of this sweet girl and can’t wait to see how God is going to use her in life!
