I am so excited to welcome JP to the blog! We captured his senior session at Madeira Beach, on a slightly cloudy day by the water. But cloudy days often have some of the best, soft light, and that was definitely the case for JP’s session.
JonPaul, better known as JP, is a senior at Land O Lakes High School, where he is a talented member of their baseball team. In fact, he plans to continue playing his favorite sport as a member of the University of South Florida’s baseball team, in the Fall. Not only is a talented athlete, he is also very smart, and he plans on majoring in Biology. Athletic and smart… that’s a great combination for sure!
The Docks
We started JP’s session off at the docks, and then we made our way through the boardwalk area that had lots of rocks just below the boardwalk, by the water. Of course… perfect for photos! Ultimately, we ended his session at the beach. That’s one of the things I love about Madeira Beach sessions: There were so many areas for us to explore together.
Beside the Boardwalk
Once we finally made it down to the beach, we also took a few family photos. It was so sweet photographing all 4 of them and watching JP interact with his wonderful family. Of course, I couldn’t just capture the big group, I also had to capture a few photos with JP and his sister too. They were so cute and silly together. JP’s family certainly brought out the best in each other and I could tell how much he adores his parents and sister.

JP, you were a dream to work with and photograph. I know your kindness, talent, and of course your smarts will take you far in college and beyond. I am excited to watch you soar at the University of South Florida! Congratulations on your senior year of high school!
